For months now I have been going back and forth
Trying to figure out where I want to go with this blog
I want to share so much on here
But I feel like a lot of it is not really my story to tell
I leave out a lot of information of for the sake of my children's privacy
And sometimes its makes it hard to share anything at all
because its not always clear where to draw that line
I gave much thought to deleting this blog
But in the end through this blog I have meet so many amazing and inspiring people
And I don't want to give that up
So I am going back to writing just as I did before
Sharing what I feel comfortable with
And leaving out what I don't
You always can email me if you have individual questions about our family
Or our experiences with foster care and adoption
There are plenty of details I would love to talk about
But I don't cover on the blog
I feel so much better putting this out there
And I am so excited to catch up on all that has happened in the last few months!

MAURA! Oh how I'm glad you're back!!!
I had the desire to DELETE mine as well, not for the same reasons, but I almost did too.
But even if you felt like your writing before wasn't much, it was so much to me! :)
So glad you are back!!! Yu have been missed in blog world! We would still like to get together some time for pics....... But we are in a holding pattern as we might be adopting again. so I will keep you posted! Cant wait to see how big the baby has gotten!

Hi, I'm so glad you decided to keep your blog! I don't think I have commented before but I have been reading through your posts for the last few weeks. I'm planning to become a foster parent with my partner very soon. Your blog really shows the beautiful side of fostering, which people need to see. It's grounded but uplifting. Your photos are lovely and your son is a VERY skilled photographer! I thought the photos you posted that he took were taken by a professional.
I am a follower of your blog, here in Oregon. I find your stories inspirational and am glad you are choosing to stay in blogland.
